While hoping to offer inspiration as a story of breast cancer survival, Nice T!ts! also seeks to be as informative as possible and encourage a conversation with it’s audience regarding the societal preconceptions of breasts in relation to breast cancer and ending the perception of this being an incredibly taboo subject which it shouldn’t be.

In a society obsessed with breasts and the sexualization of women, Nice T!ts! aims to get the topic of breasts and breast cancer out of the closet in a unique way and start an honest conversation about what it means to lose your breasts to cancer and how that impacts you, your partner, your sexuality, your identity, and even your family.

As The Lancet Oncology Journal reported about Nice T!ts!, “Breast cancer especially is wrapped up in a complex set of societal ideas about femininity and beauty, self-worth and self-image…Marcs has created a show that convincingly walks us through the emotional highs and lows of cancer treatment and its aftermath. Just as cancer is at once universal and intensely personal, Marcs’ show is able find the universal in one woman’s story.”

Amy has been a guest on Sirius XM Doctor Radio to discuss her show and offer her perspective as a breast cancer patient and survivor and has hosted talk backs after performances with Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Nolan Karp and Surgical Oncologist, Dr. Karen Hiotis.
